Can we reduce our carbon footprint by eating fish? Yes!

On a global scale, more than 25% of greenhouse gas emissions come from food production*.

Food is expensive, not only for our purse but also and above all for our planet. However, some products have a greater impact than others.

On average, seafood has a lower carbon footprint than that of other animal proteins. But within this average figure, certain fish and shellfish can have very different impacts to others.

So which products should you choose?

For once, all the experts around the world agree on one point. Starting today, we need to consume intelligently by minimising as far as possible the impact on the ecosystems, thus placing much greater importance on the traceability of supplies and favouring seafood from responsible fisheries or fish farms.
